Newcomer Tactics for Double-Hand Poker

[ English ]

Pai Gow Poker is a current game with ancient origins. Built on the ancient Chinese tile game and the modern American variation of poker, Pai Gow poker joins the east with the western in a fantastic game for starting players.

Pai Gow is a poker game that puts the gambler versus the house, unlike most other poker games that players play against other gamblers. By gambling against the dealer, starting players do not have to fret about any other, more advanced people taking their mulla.

Another Pai Gow benefit is the fairly slow game pace, newcomers can take their time and scheme while not needing to make quick choices.

It is also easier to participate in for a long time with only a tiny amount of money since, to lose, both of your hands needs to be under both of the dealer’s hands.

Pai Gow is played with 53 cards; the familiar 52-card basic deck and one joker. The player is given seven cards face up and the croupier receives seven cards face down.

A 5 card hand and a 2 card hand have to be put together from the seven cards, the 5 card hand has to be higher than the 2 card hand. To succeed, a player needs both of his hand totals to be better than the casino’s.
